Cassidy Joy is an Associate Manager for Marketing & Strategy at Formative, working across clients including Gates Ventures. She brings over a decade of experience spanning science communication, global health, and biotech.
Prior to joining Formative, Cassidy supported nonprofits and partners including VentureWell, the Sabin Vaccine Institute, ARPA-H, NIH, CDC, and USAID. She served as a Global Health Corps Fellow in Malawi and worked with International Medical Corps in Guinea. She began her career as a public health specialist before finding her passion for communications, translating data into impact to help programs grow.
Outside of work, Cassidy is all about an excursion on the water or in the mountains and considers herself an amateur naturalist. Will stop for mushrooms. She's an avid fan of 90s disaster movies and loves live theater and concerts. Cassidy holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a BA in International Studies from the University of Florida.
